What is Graviola?

Graviola is a name used to describe a tropical evergreen tree that grows wild in the Caribbean, Africa, Asia and South and Central America. It can be found in the tropics primarily. It is also known as guanabana in Spanish and is commonly referred to as soursop, especially in North America.

Graviola Tree

The tree is bears a spiny fruit that contains a sweet runny custardy pulp that contains large black seeds that look like oversized watermelon seeds. The tree has long been valued for the medicinal qualities in its leaves, stems and bark. The fruit is also eaten for health and as a remedy against a large list of ailments.

Benefits of Graviola
