Graviola Tree

Why don't we know about graviola? Well, it's all about the money...

When researchers at the Health Sciences Institute were alerted to the news of Graviola health benefits, they began tracking the research done on the cancer-killing tree. Evidence of the astounding effectiveness of Graviola—and its shocking cover-up—came in fast and furious...

One of America's biggest billion-dollar drug makers began a search for a cancer cure and their research centered on Graviola health benefits, a legendary healing tree from the Amazon Rainforest.

Various parts of the Graviola tree—including the bark, leaves, roots, fruit and fruit-seeds—have been used for centuries by medicine men and native Indians in South America to treat heart disease, asthma, liver problems and arthritis. Going on very little documented scientific evidence, the company poured money and resources into testing the tree's anti-cancerous properties—and were shocked by the results. Graviola health benefits proved itself to be a cancer-killing dynamo.

But that's where the Graviola story nearly ended. The company had one huge problem with the Graviola tree—it's completely natural, and so, under federal law, not patentable. There's no way to make serious profits from it. It turns out the drug company invested nearly seven years trying to synthesize two of the Graviola tree's most powerful anti-cancer ingredients. If they could isolate and produce man-made clones of what makes the Graviola health benefits so potent, they'd be able to patent it and make their money back. The original simply could not be replicated. There was no way the company could protect its profits—or even make back the millions it poured into research.

As the dream of huge profits evaporated, their testing on Graviola health benefits came to a halt. Even worse, the company shelved the entire project and chose not to publish the findings of its research!

The National Cancer institute performed the first scientific research in 1976. The results showed that Graviola's "leaves and stems were found effective in attacking and destroying malignant cells. " Inexplicably, the results were published in an internal report and never released to the public...

...Since 1976, Graviola health benefits has proven to be an immensely potent cancer killer in 20 independent laboratory tests, yet no double-blind clinical trials—the typical benchmark mainstream doctors and journals used to judge a treatment's value—were never initiated...

...A study published in the Journal of Natural Products, following a recent study conducted at Catholic University of South Korea stated that one chemical in Graviola was found to selectively kill colon cancer cells at "10,000 times the potency of Adriamycin (the commonly used chemotherapy drug)..."

...The most significant part of the Catholic University of South Korea report is that Graviola health benefits was shown to selectively target the cancer cells, leaving healthy cells untouched. Unlike chemotherapy, which indiscriminately targets all actively reproducing cells (such as stomach and hair cells), causing the often devastating side effects of nausea and hair loss in cancer patients. ...A study at Purdue University recently found that leaves from the Graviola tree killed cancer cells among six human cell lines and were especially effective against prostate, pancreatic and lung cancers...

Testimony from a Graviola believer...

...In the early 1950's my father was a leading researcher into the possibilities surrounding the Graviola tree as a alternative to not alone cancer treatment but also to a host of other medical problems. For legal reasons I will not name the pharmaceutical company involved, but the truth be known other companies followed suit in the decades to follow. They too carried out similar tests and experiments. I can vividly remember my father discussing his findings with guests around the dinner table. And, he was absolutely 100% clear that the research had indeed stumbled upon was a natural cancer cell killer. Now it was one thing making this remarkable discovery but an entirely different matter altogether producing a synthesized version of the compound.

In the decades to follow it appears that all the ensuing research by the various other pharma corporations failed in this respect also. Therein lay the problem for these groups, because if they could not produce a synthetic variation of the Graviola ingredients then the project and files would have to be shelved. You must understand that in order for the Pharma Corporations to gain a patent or a licence to sell a product it must first pass all the rigors of the FDA and this is where it failed. Hence, where nature can produce in abundance, it is not so for the pharma groups. They have failed.

So the bottom line, it appears, is that the big pharma groups did indeed discover a natural compound to fight cancer, but unfortunately they could not reproduce a synthetic version and therefore could not utilize the natural herbal extract as a patent would not be issued in this respect.

Therefore it would seem that if the pharmaceutical companies could not control the sale of any medical benefits attributed to the Graviola tree then they sure as heck did not want they're findings made publicly known. Also I may stand corrected, but although the various parts of the Graviola tree have different herbal attributes, from what I recall it is the leaf and stem that are attributed as a natural form of cancer treatment.
